WRN's Night of Tribute and Gratitude
On April 30th, hundreds joined together on Zoom to celebrate Rabbi Mary L. Zamore's tenure as Executive Director of the WRN. The evening included tributes from friends and colleagues, interviews and blessings, as well as remarks from Rabbi Zamore herself. Cantor Becky Mann shared words and melodies, including a new song, "Like a Tree," commissioned by the WRN in Rabbi Zamore's honor, based upon Psalms 1:3: "She is like a tree planted beside streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, whose foliage never fades, and whatever it produces thrives."
WRN received over 300 gifts and raised funds to enable our organization to thrive in the future. Tributes and donations in Rabbi Zamore's honor are listed in the digital Journal. We thank each person, organization, congregation and group for their generosity. We especially thank those who gave at the "Grove" and "Summer" levels:
